When the project landed on the desk in spring 2023, the brief was simple: 200 frames, each one slightly different, delivery deadline autumn 2024. The hard part was in the detail.
Tailored to each door
Hospitals have particular requirements — fire safety, hygiene, and doors that can take two beds passing through at once. We built a bespoke model that stayed inside the FSC framework without compromising function.
The outcome
Three weeks after the last frame was delivered, the ward opened on schedule. Most of these frames will probably get little attention over the next few decades — that is rather the point. The best craft is the kind you do not notice.
